The Roger EasyPen helps people with hearing loss to follow group conversations, one-to-one conversations, TV streaming, lecture or class audio, and other devices such as mobiles. Effectively working in noisy situations and over distance.
Simple to use icon buttons and a built-in microphone with automatic adjustment for sound levels, it suits people who do not need Bluetooth or manual microphone control.

Roger EasyPen is a flexible, intelligent product. It detects which situation you are in and adapts its microphone settings automatically to provide you the best speech understanding possible.
In small group conversations:
If your group is seated at a table, you simply place your EasyPen in the middle of the table and the audio of the person talking at that time will transmit to you hearing aid. The background noise is no problem for the EasyPen.
If your group is not at a table, you can simply hold the EasyPen and point if in the direction of the person speaking, the audio is then transmitted to your hearing aids.
In one-on-one conversations:
To hear the conversational partner simply attached the EasyPen to the lanyard provided, the partner then wears this around their neck and audio is streamed into your hearing aids.
Using the different types audio cables provided you can choose to connect your docking station into your television. Simply place the EasyPen into your docking station and the TV audio is then streaming to your hearing aids.
Connect you EasyPen to your mobile phone using the suitable audio cables provided. Phonak’s Roger EasyPen has the same wireless transmitting microphone capability as the Roger Pen but does not have the Bluetooth function, for mobile phone use or manual control of the microphone setting.
Other Audio Devices:
To stream audio from other devices such as an MP3 Player, PC or HiFi you use the same method as you would with you TV. Connect your EasyPen using the audio cables provided and audio is ready.

Connecting the EasyPen to hearing aids:
You can use the Roger EasyPen with most hearing aids, cochlear implants and Bahas. A Roger receiver is required to bring the signal from Roger EasyPen into the hearing system. For most Phonak hearing aids as well for all recent cochlear implant sound processor, there is a design integrated Roger receiver. For other hearing aids, the universal Roger X or Roger MyLink can be used.
Roger X Receiver: A Roger X receiver are small and discreet receivers which would be attached to each of the hearing aids using a specific adapter known as a ‘Shoe’. These Roger X receivers and shoes are sold separately.
Roger MyLink Receiver: This receiver is worn around your neck and acts in the same way as the Roger X receiver. You would only need to purchase one, rather then two. The Roger MyLink is also sold separately.
Alternatively, some Phonak devices include the receiver technology which means no additional receivers/parts are required. These devices are named the Roger iN.
