Part of Phonak’s modern classroom amplification range, the Phonak Roger Pass Around Mic is designed to encouraged participation and improve communication during classroom discussions. Used in conjunction with the Roger Touchscreen Mic Transmitter, it ensures that not only teachers, but students can also be heard clearly, supporting an inclusive classroom and engaging learning environments.
By streaming students’ voices directly to hearing devices via Roger X receivers, the Pass Around Mic helps reduce listening effort and removes the need for repetition. It also supports better management in classroom, allowing natural flow of discussions while maintaining order and clarity.
Lightweight, easy to handle and sized perfectly for children and teenagers, the microphone can be passed between students or placed on the desk using the supplied stand.
Charging
The Phonak Roger Pass Around Mic features a rechargeable battery that provides up to 10 hours of use from a full charge. Charging is completed via the micro-USB connector, with full charge taking approximately 2 hours.
How to Use
It is simple and intuitive, the Roger Pass Around Mic is ready to use once connected to the Roger system.
- Hand-held use: The student holds the microphone close to their mouth when speaking. The indicator light turns green when speech is detected.
- On the stand: Place Roger Pass Around Mic on the desk using the stand which is included for one or two students to speak comfortably.
- Laid flat on the table: When placed on a flat surface, the microphone automatically mutes (Red flashing light) to prevent unnecessary audio transmission.
This flexibility makes it easy to adapt to different classroom activities and discussion styles.
Compatibility
The Phonak Roger Pass Around Mic is designed to be used alongside the Roger Touchscreen Mic Transmitter and Roger X Receivers (sold separately). The Roger Touchscreen Mic is typically worn by the teacher but can also be placed on a table or directed towards a speaker to support the overall classroom listening.
