This extra layer of protection helps keep the receiver clear and reduce the need to handle small wax filters; instead of removing the filter during routine cleaning, gently wipe the outside of the dome with a clean, dry cloth.
EasyGuard domes are available in open, vented and power styles. Each style provides a different acoustic fit, so customers should select the same dome type and size recommended by their hearing care professional. The design of these domes also supports clearer sound with fewer interruptions and helps protect essential hearing aid components.

EasyGuard domes work with selected Phonak hearing aids and compatible SDS 4.0, SDS 5.0 and SDS 6.0 receivers or SlimTubes.
Please note: select the same dome style and size currently fitted to your hearing aid unless your hearing care professional advises a change. An incorrect dome size or style affects comfort, retention, sound quality and hearing aid performance. EasyGuard domes do not fit every Phonak hearing aid.
How to fit?
- Wash and dry your hands
- Hold the receiver or SlimTube securely
- Check the receiver or SlimTube for wax, moisture or damage
- Align the new EasyGuard dome with the receiver or SlimTube
- Press the dome into place until securely attached
- Check the dome before placing the hearing aid in your ear.
How to clean?
- Remove the hearing aid from your ear
- Wipe the outside of the EasyGuard dome with a soft, dry cloth
- Remove visible wax without using water or cleaning fluid
- Check the dome for splits, hardening or other damage
- Ask your hearing care professional when replacement is required
