This compact and easy-to-use dryer uses gentle warm air to thoroughly dry your hearing aids overnight, helping to maintain performance, hygiene, and comfort.
How to Use Phonak PerfectDry Lux:
- Prepare your hearing aids
Clean and wipe your hearing aids to remove any excess wax, dirt or moisture.
For hearing aids with disposable batteries, open the battery compartments before placing them in the dryer. The batteries can remain inside during the drying cycle.
- Place your hearing aids in the dryer
Open the PerfectDry Lux and place your complete hearing aids inside the drying compartment.
There is normally no need to remove the domes, receivers, tubes or earmoulds before using the PerfectDry Lux.
- Close the lid
Make sure the lid is fully closed before starting the cycle. The PerfectDry Lux will not operate while the lid is open.
- Start the drying cycle
Press the touch button to start the drying cycle. The PerfectDry Lux uses warm air to dehumidify the hearing aids and UV-C light to help reduce microorganisms on their surfaces.
- 45-minute cycle
The PerfectDry Lux automatically completes its drying and UV-C maintenance cycle after approximately 45 minutes.
Once the cycle has finished, the indicator light will switch off. Your hearing aids can then be removed and used as normal.
Important: Always follow the care instructions supplied with your particular hearing aids.
Tips:
- Do not immerse your hearing aids in water or cleaning liquids while using this device.
- Use only on compatible hearing aids (BTE, RIC, ITE, standard and rechargeable models).
