Description

The Starkey StarLink Edge Table Microphone is designed to support clearer conversations in a multi-speaker setting such as family meals, meetings, and small group discussions. This uses eight built-in microphones, captures speech from around the table and streams voices directly to your hearing aids, helping you to follow conversations with less effort. 

Simply place the microphone near the conversation and switch it on, streaming begins automatically and when it is powered off, streaming stops just as smoothly. The device can also be placed near other sound sources, making it useful for listening to audio from TVs or external devices when needed.  

 

Conversation Streaming Modes 

This Starkey StarLink Edge Table Microphone intelligently adapts to different listening situations to provide reliable speech clarity. It is helpful for users who work around several environments.  

• Automatic Mode follows the main speaker in both quiet and noisy environments. 

• Manual Selection Mode allows you to focus on up to two chosen speakers.  

• Surround Mode is optimised for larger group conversations in quieter settings.  

• Wearable Mode allows the microphone to be worn by a distant speaker in noisy environments.  

These following options give you flexibility depending on where you are and how the conversation is happening. 

How to Use – Tabletop Listening 

Start with placing the Starlink Edge Table Microphone in the centre of the table to capture voices from all directions. For the best results, keep the microphone as close as possible to the people you want to hear. This is an ideal set-up for shared meals, meetings and other social environments.  

TV Audio Streaming (Line-In)  

The Starkey StarLink Edge Table Microphone can also stream audio directly from your TV or other device. Simply connect the supplied audio cable to the microphone and plug the other end into the headphone output of your TV or audio source. The sound will stream from here straight to you hearing aids and you can listen to it crystal clearly.  

 

Compatibility  

The Starkey StarLink Edge Table Microphone is compatible with selected Starkey hearing aids that support Starlink Edge Accessories. 

Note: This table microphone is not compatible with Starkey Livio Edge AI hearing aids. Those devices require StarLink 2.4GHz Table Microphone instead.
