Phonak Audeo M-312 hearing aids are receiver-in-canal (RIC) models, which means the receiver sits directly inside the ear canal. This design makes them susceptible to earwax and debris buildup, making regular cleaning essential for supporting optimal performance.
Receiver and Domes:
- If the Dome is detachable, remove it from the receiver.
- Soak the dome for half an hour in a special cleaning cup that is two-thirds full of warm water.
- Rinse well, let dry fully, and then replace the dome.
- To remove dirt from the wax guards and sound exit, use a soft brush or wax pick.
Hearing Aid Body
