Wax guards are an excellent tool for keeping your hearing aids in good condition. Without them, wax-build up can seriously harm your hearing aids, and may cause them to malfunction and even break down completely. With these cost-effective wax guards, you can be sure to keep your hearing aid in good condition for years to come.
These Quick Guard wax guards are designed for selected Signia and Connexx hearing aids, commonly supplied by the NHS, Specsavers and other outlets. These wax guards are the direct replacement and improvement upon the Signia HF4 wax guards.
How often should I change my wax guard?
To help keep your aids in full working order, it is important to frequently replace the wax guard on your receiver and tubes.
Changing your wax guard varies from person to person depending on your use and personal wax build up. It is highly recommended that you change the guards if you can see a visible build-up of wax, or notice your hearing aid underperforming. We suggest you check it on a regular, if not daily, basis.
How to use:
This item comes with an intuitive, easy-to-use replacement process. Just remove a wax guard strip from the small packet, then proceed to check the two ends: one will be empty for your old guard, and the other will hold your new wax guard.
Use the empty end to remove your current used wax guard from your hearing aid device, then turn the stick and push the end with the new wax guard onto the hearing aid device.
Next, dispose of the used guard in your regular waste and then place your other dome back into place.
Compatibility:
The Connexx Quick Guard is compatible with selected Signia and Connexx hearing ITE hearing aids such as Signia Insio NX and Signia Primax.
