The Phonak Audeo M-R hearing aids are receiver-in-canal (RIC) devices, with receivers positioned inside the ear canal for clear sound delivery. This placement makes them vulnerable to earwax and debris buildup, so routine cleaning is essential for long-term reliability and performance.
Receiver and Domes:
- If domes are detachable from the receiver, then remove them and soak in for half an hour in a special cleaning cup.
- Later, rinse them well and let it dry fully and replace the dome.
- Use soft brush to remove dirt from the wax guards and sound exit.
