This streamer is worn around the neck to connect and send audio signals wirelessly to your hearing aids. You also have the option to connect to your person with the optional belt clip. Compact and unobtrusive, the Streamer Pro simply looks as though you have an MP3 player or hands free calling device. Oticon have developed the Streamer Pro and the full ConnectLine catalogue to enhance communication and entertainment across the board whilst being straightforward and easy-to-use.

Features:

Three large buttons to the front of the streamer are dedicated to the primary applications of the streamer: mobile phones, landline phones, TV and microphone. As well as these functions, the Streamer Pro can be used to connect to computers, tablets, telecoil systems and FM systems.

Connect your Streamer Pro with Bluetooth technology to make and receive phone calls through your Bluetooth enabled mobile phone.

The Streamer Pro allows non bluetooth enabled hearing aids to stream phone calls from mobile phones wirelessly. Pairing is a hassle free process and once set up you can use your hearing aids as a wireless headset for easy communication on-the-go.

Compatibility:

The StreamerPro 1.3A is compatible with most Oticon hearing aids. If you have previously used a StreamerPro 1.2 this 1.3A version is also compatible.

If you have an Oticon Ponto hearing aid this would require the Oticon Medical Streamer, the Ponto hearing aid is NOT compatible with the Streamer Pro 1.3A

Phone Adapter:

The ConnectLine Phone Adapter (purchased separately) makes it possible for the Streamer Pro to send sound from your landline telephone to your hearing aids. Supporting both incoming and outgoing calls, the Streamer Pro acts as a microphone, returning your voice back to the phone and your conversation partner. At the single touch of a button to answer the call, you have a truly hands free phone call.

TV Adapter 2.0:

The ConnectLine TV Adapter 2.0 (purchased separately) allows sound to be streamed via your Streamer Pro wirelessly to your hearing devices. Watch the TV at a volume level that is enjoyable for you, whilst not disturbing other members of the household.

Microphone:

The ConnectLine Microphone (purchased separately) is the solution to difficulties in crowded and noisy environments. The microphone is a discreet device that connects to the Streamer Pro to direct your conversation partner’s voice to your hearing aids, improving one-to-one conversations in challenging listening environments but increasing the speech-to-noise ratio. It simply clips onto clothing of the other speaker, and simply press the microphone button on your Streamer Pro. The Streamer Pro will begin sending the microphone wearers voice loudly and clearly to your hearing aids.

Other functions:

More functions of the hearing aids are listed and expanded on below:

• Remote control: Change the volume, programs or mute your hearing aids with the remote control function of the Streamer Pro.
• Computers/tablets : Using the 3.5mm cables supplied with the streamer, the Streamer Pro can stream audio from devices with a 3.5mm audio socket.
• FM systems: The Streamer Pro has built-in FM capability so that users can access FM systems favoured by education settings. Plug an FM receiver into the Euro pin socket at the base of the streamer.
• Telecoil: Access the telecoil, also known as the loop system, in public places like churches, theatres and banks with the Streamer Pro which has a built-in telecoil.

The Streamer Pro will take 2 hours to completely charge. Expect up to 10 hours of typical daily use on a full charge, e.g. 2 hours phone, 6 hours TV and 2 hours on standby (after 2 years the capacity will be approx. 8 hours of daily use).

Please note: To connect to landline phones, the ConnectLine Phone Adaptor 2.0 is required. To connect to televisions, the Connect Line TV Adaptor 2.0 is required.
