Description

The Oticon T-Cap is a microphone cover/protector for custom and In-the-Ear (ITE) Oticon hearing aids.  The cap is nano coated and designed to prevent dirt and wax from getting into the microphone port or inlet.  If the inlet becomes blocked, it will reduce sound quality and make hearing more difficult.

How to use:

Remove the tool (stick) from the package.  The tool has two ends, one for removal and one with the new T-Cap filter.  To remove the old filter, push the pointed end into the existing T-Cap filter and pull it out.

Then, to replace it, insert the new T-Cap filter using the other end of the tool – then remove the tool and throw it away.  Please note that if your instrument has two microphone inlets, then follow the same procedure to also replace the second T-Cap filter.

Compatibility:

Your hearing aids must already have a microphone housing which allows for a T-Cap in order for you to be able to use this microphone protector.
